Hippie Sabotage are an electronic and hip-hop duo from Sacramento, California, consisting of brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer. Often classified as chillwave, their music features elements from a variety of genres including trap, psych rock, and indie rock. They are well known for their remix of "Habits (Stay High)" by Tove Lo, which has accumulated over 1 billion views on YouTube and 1.6 billion streams on Spotify since release, as well as "Devil Eyes" with over 700 million Spotify streams. Hippie Sabotage have toured frequently since 2015, including a number of headline tours with two shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, festival performances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Firefly, and Hangout among others.

Michael, Andy, and Jacob began the project that became Salt Fox in 2016, inspired by a decade-old list of self-improvement goals found in a ruined apartment. The building they practiced in was torn down and the group stalled until they were invited to perform at a digital music festival during the pandemic. Sun Centauri is a future pop/R&B collaboration featuring wavy production from Jim Swim and soaring vocals from Alyx Rush. Whether writing summer bops or midnight laments, the duo prioritizes emotion through experimental sound design, harmony stacks, and live instrumentation. With two standout EPs already released under their individual names (Fruit to the Knife and After the Last Time), their first official Sun Centauri single, “Two Shots,” will be out on August 2nd ahead of a fall EP release.

Dearborn, an alt-rock band that invites you into their world with their debut EP, "Memo For A Friend." With a sound that masterfully fuses electronic textures, folk influences, and the explosive energy of shoegaze, they create an emotionally immersive experience. Comprised of Elijah Mickey (vocals/guitar), Elias Smith (bass), Jonah Marcussen (lead guitar), and Aaron Knight (drums), the band embodies a DIY spirit and a dedication to authenticity. At age 17, Charlotte graced the stage of NBC’s “The Voice” to showcase her talent. Although she was not selected to move on in the competition, this was a defining moment that would help fuel her ambitions to become a better singer-songwriter.

Charlotte Blu (born Charlotte Boyer) is an amazing upcoming music artist originally from Illinois. She began singing at a very young age receiving her first guitar lesson at 10 years old and from there developed a love for the instrument. Charlotte is a vocalist, songwriter, musician, and performer with talents in performing and songwriting in different genres of music. Her music as an artist is rooted in soul, blues and inspired by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Etta James, H.E.R., and Beyonce.

One of Iowa City’s premier bands, Jack Lion’s sound is a one-a-kind gem in the Iowa music landscape. Jack Lion’s members unearth the early ’00s interest in connections between jazz and electronic music and refashion it for this current era. Striking a balance between jazz composition, down-tempo break-beats, and hazy atmospherics they have made their mark as one of Iowa City’s headiest and most adventurous bands.
